Growing up rainbow, an introduction
Our family is full of life and love. We can be loud and silly. We are a homeschool family. We are generous and caring. We love our friends as family. We are conservative in beliefs, yet extremely open-minded. We say "bad" words. We embrace chaos. It's a colorful life.
I am the Mom. My name is Dani. I'm currently 37 years old. I am not "just" their Mom. I am their teacher, their nurse, their chef, their chauffeur, their maid, and their best friend.
Mark is the Dad. He is 41. He works hard to support our crazy bunch. He is an estimator for a glass company in New York. He's home on weekends to make memories with the kids.
The kids -
Lilli (11) - The artist. She is smart and sassy. A gorgeous girl with short hair. She is a little Mommy to her siblings. She has earned the title of "gamer", playing Minecraft and various other games. Lilli loves animals and nature.
Delaney (7) - The diva. She is crazy and loud. She knows what she wants and won't give up until she gets it. She is fun and spunky once you get past her shy exterior.
Owen (5.5) - The lone boy. There is no mistaking he is the boy in his girl filled world. He loves cars and sharks. He is rough and tumble. He has no fear. But he is not afraid to embrace his feminine side. He loves having his nails painted and playing dress up with the girls. He is well-rounded.
Maisy (3.5) - The peanut. She is beautiful with big blue eyes and brown hair. She keeps us on our toes with artwork on the walls. She is mischievous and sneaky. She is adorable and fun.
Matilda (almost 2) - The baby. She is so sweet and cuddly. She is a bit reserved and takes some time to open up, but once she does, she opens her whole heart to you. She is funny and happy. We can't help but smile at her antics.
And rounding out our family are a number of pets at any given time. Currently we have three cats, a dachshund, a turtle and lots of fish.
We may not be your average, run of the mill family with 2 kids, a white picket fence, and a house, but this is our life and we are blessed beyond belief.
